How WorkAbroad handles your personal data
WorkAbroad places skilled workers from EU countries into jobs at staffing agencies in the Netherlands. For the processing of your personal data, we are the data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect
Depending on where you are in the process, we collect the following data:
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address, place of residence.
- Date of birth (and therefore your age).
- Information about your work experience, specialty and skills.
- Whether you hold a driving licence, and your availability.
- Whether you have worked in the Netherlands before.
- Your preferred time to be contacted.
- Your CV, if you provide one.
- The content of your intake conversation, including when it takes place via our WhatsApp assistant.
3. What we use your data for
We use your data solely for the following purposes:
- To assess your suitability for work in the Netherlands and to build your profile.
- To introduce you to one or more staffing agencies in the Netherlands.
- To contact you about opportunities and the further process.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. The legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you register. You may withdraw this consent at any time (see the section on your rights). For some processing, a legitimate interest or a legal obligation may also apply.
5. The WhatsApp assistant (AI)
Part of the intake may take place via an automated assistant on WhatsApp. We are transparent about this:
- The assistant identifies itself as an automated assistant at the start of the conversation.
- The assistant only collects information. It never decides on your suitability on its own; that is always done by a member of staff.
- You can always choose to speak with a member of staff instead.
- The conversation runs via the WhatsApp Business API; the terms of WhatsApp/Meta also apply.
6. Who we share your data with
We share your data with:
- Staffing agencies in the Netherlands to whom we introduce you, and only the data needed for that purpose.
- Service providers who assist us (such as our IT, hosting and communication partners), acting as processors on our behalf.
We never sell your data to third parties. The staffing agency to whom you are introduced is itself responsible for the data it processes about you and will inform you about this separately.
7. How long we keep your data
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes stated above, up to a maximum of 12 months after the last contact. At your request, your data will be erased earlier and you will be anonymised in our database.
8. How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing. This includes secured access, encryption and limiting access to only those staff who need the data. Sensitive data such as the BSN (citizen service number) is handled with extra care.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- The right to access the data we hold about you.
- The right to have inaccurate data corrected.
- The right to have your data erased.
- The right to withdraw your consent.
- The right to data portability.
- The right to object to the processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
10. Cookies and the Meta Pixel
On our website we use functional cookies that are necessary for the site to work. We only place marketing cookies - specifically the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which we use to measure how well our advertisements perform - after you have given your consent via the cookie banner. You can accept or refuse these cookies, and you can withdraw or change your choice at any time by clearing the cookies in your browser. If you refuse, the Meta Pixel is not loaded.

Hoe WorkAbroad omgaat met jouw persoonsgegevens
WorkAbroad bemiddelt vakmensen uit EU-landen naar werk bij uitzendorganisaties in Nederland. Voor de verwerking van jouw persoonsgegevens zijn wij de verwerkingsverantwoordelijke in de zin van de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG).

2. Welke gegevens wij verzamelen
Afhankelijk van waar je in het proces zit, verzamelen wij de volgende gegevens:
- Contactgegevens: naam, telefoonnummer, e-mailadres, woonplaats.
- Geboortedatum (en daarmee je leeftijd).
- Gegevens over je werkervaring, specialisatie en vaardigheden.
- Of je een rijbewijs hebt en je beschikbaarheid.
- Of je eerder in Nederland hebt gewerkt.
- Je voorkeur voor het moment van contact.
- Je CV, indien je dit aanlevert.
- De inhoud van je intakegesprek, ook wanneer dit via onze WhatsApp-assistent verloopt.
3. Waarvoor wij jouw gegevens gebruiken
Wij gebruiken jouw gegevens uitsluitend voor de volgende doelen:
- Om je geschiktheid voor werk in Nederland te beoordelen en je profiel op te stellen.
- Om je voor te stellen aan een of meer uitzendorganisaties in Nederland.
- Om contact met je op te nemen over kansen en het verdere proces.
- Om te voldoen aan wettelijke verplichtingen.
4. De grondslag voor de verwerking
Wij verwerken jouw gegevens op basis van jouw toestemming, die je geeft bij je aanmelding. Je kunt deze toestemming op elk moment intrekken (zie het hoofdstuk over jouw rechten). Voor sommige verwerkingen kan daarnaast een gerechtvaardigd belang of een wettelijke verplichting gelden.
5. De WhatsApp-assistent (AI)
Een deel van de intake kan verlopen via een geautomatiseerde assistent op WhatsApp. Hierover zijn wij transparant:
- De assistent maakt zich aan het begin van het gesprek bekend als geautomatiseerde assistent.
- De assistent verzamelt alleen informatie. De assistent neemt nooit zelfstandig een beslissing over jouw geschiktheid; dat doet altijd een medewerker.
- Je kunt altijd kiezen om in plaats daarvan met een medewerker te spreken.
- Het gesprek verloopt via de WhatsApp Business API; daarbij gelden ook de voorwaarden van WhatsApp/Meta.
6. Met wie wij gegevens delen
Wij delen jouw gegevens met:
- Uitzendorganisaties in Nederland waaraan wij je voorstellen, en uitsluitend de gegevens die daarvoor nodig zijn.
- Dienstverleners die ons helpen (zoals onze IT-, hosting- en communicatiepartners), die als verwerker namens ons handelen.
Wij verkopen jouw gegevens nooit aan derden. De uitzendorganisatie waaraan je wordt voorgesteld is zelf verantwoordelijk voor de gegevens die zij van je verwerkt en zal je hierover apart informeren.
7. Hoe lang wij gegevens bewaren
Wij bewaren jouw gegevens niet langer dan nodig is voor de hierboven genoemde doelen, tot een maximum van 12 maanden na het laatste contact. Op jouw verzoek worden de gegevens eerder verwijderd en word je geanonimiseerd in onze database.
8. Hoe wij jouw gegevens beveiligen
Wij nemen passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om jouw gegevens te beschermen tegen verlies of onrechtmatige verwerking. Denk aan beveiligde toegang, versleuteling en het beperken van toegang tot alleen de medewerkers die de gegevens nodig hebben. Gevoelige gegevens zoals het BSN worden met extra zorg behandeld.
9. Jouw rechten
Op grond van de AVG heb je de volgende rechten:
- Recht op inzage in de gegevens die wij van je hebben.
- Recht op correctie van onjuiste gegevens.
- Recht op verwijdering van je gegevens.
- Recht om je toestemming in te trekken.
- Recht op overdraagbaarheid van je gegevens.
- Recht om bezwaar te maken tegen de verwerking.
Om een van deze rechten uit te oefenen, neem je contact met ons op via [email protected]. Je hebt ook het recht een klacht in te dienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
10. Cookies en de Meta-pixel
Op onze website gebruiken wij functionele cookies die nodig zijn om de site te laten werken. Marketingcookies - specifiek de Meta-pixel (Facebook), waarmee wij meten hoe goed onze advertenties presteren - plaatsen wij pas nadat je daar via de cookiebanner toestemming voor hebt gegeven. Je kunt deze cookies accepteren of weigeren, en je keuze op elk moment intrekken of wijzigen door de cookies in je browser te wissen. Weiger je, dan wordt de Meta-pixel niet geladen.
11. Wijzigingen in deze verklaring
Wij kunnen deze privacyverklaring van tijd tot tijd aanpassen. De meest actuele versie staat altijd op onze website. Bij belangrijke wijzigingen informeren wij je hierover.

Cum gestionează WorkAbroad datele tale personale
WorkAbroad plasează muncitori calificați din țări UE în locuri de muncă la agenții de muncă temporară din Țările de Jos. Pentru prelucrarea datelor tale personale, noi suntem operatorul de date în sensul Regulamentului general privind protecția datelor (GDPR).

2. Ce date colectăm
În funcție de etapa în care te afli în proces, colectăm următoarele date:
- Date de contact: nume, număr de telefon, adresă de e-mail, localitate.
- Data nașterii (și, implicit, vârsta ta).
- Informații despre experiența ta profesională, specializare și competențe.
- Dacă deții permis de conducere și disponibilitatea ta.
- Dacă ai mai lucrat în Țările de Jos.
- Preferința ta privind momentul contactării.
- CV-ul tău, dacă îl furnizezi.
- Conținutul discuției de intake, inclusiv atunci când are loc prin asistentul nostru WhatsApp.
3. În ce scop folosim datele tale
Folosim datele tale exclusiv în următoarele scopuri:
- Pentru a evalua potrivirea ta pentru muncă în Țările de Jos și pentru a-ți întocmi profilul.
- Pentru a te prezenta uneia sau mai multor agenții de muncă temporară din Țările de Jos.
- Pentru a te contacta cu privire la oportunități și la procesul ulterior.
- Pentru a respecta obligațiile legale.
4. Temeiul juridic al prelucrării
Prelucrăm datele tale pe baza consimțământului tău, pe care îl acorzi la înscriere. Îți poți retrage acest consimțământ în orice moment (vezi capitolul despre drepturile tale). Pentru unele prelucrări se poate aplica și un interes legitim sau o obligație legală.
5. Asistentul WhatsApp (AI)
O parte din intake se poate desfășura printr-un asistent automat pe WhatsApp. Suntem transparenți în această privință:
- Asistentul se prezintă la începutul conversației ca asistent automat.
- Asistentul doar colectează informații. Nu ia niciodată singur o decizie privind potrivirea ta; acest lucru îl face întotdeauna un angajat.
- Poți alege oricând să vorbești în schimb cu un angajat.
- Conversația se desfășoară prin WhatsApp Business API; se aplică și condițiile WhatsApp/Meta.
6. Cu cine partajăm datele
Partajăm datele tale cu:
- Agenții de muncă temporară din Țările de Jos cărora te prezentăm, și doar datele necesare în acest scop.
- Furnizori de servicii care ne ajută (cum ar fi partenerii noștri IT, de găzduire și de comunicare), care acționează ca persoane împuternicite în numele nostru.
Nu vindem niciodată datele tale către terți. Agenția de muncă temporară căreia îți suntem prezentat este ea însăși responsabilă pentru datele pe care le prelucrează despre tine și te va informa separat despre acest lucru.
7. Cât timp păstrăm datele
Nu păstrăm datele tale mai mult decât este necesar pentru scopurile menționate mai sus, până la maximum 12 luni după ultimul contact. La cererea ta, datele vor fi șterse mai devreme și vei fi anonimizat în baza noastră de date.
8. Cum îți protejăm datele
Luăm măsuri tehnice și organizatorice adecvate pentru a-ți proteja datele împotriva pierderii sau a prelucrării ilegale. Acestea includ acces securizat, criptare și limitarea accesului doar la angajații care au nevoie de date. Datele sensibile, cum ar fi BSN-ul (codul numeric personal), sunt tratate cu grijă suplimentară.
9. Drepturile tale
În temeiul GDPR ai următoarele drepturi:
- Dreptul de acces la datele pe care le deținem despre tine.
- Dreptul la rectificarea datelor incorecte.
- Dreptul la ștergerea datelor tale.
- Dreptul de a-ți retrage consimțământul.
- Dreptul la portabilitatea datelor.
- Dreptul de a te opune prelucrării.

10. Cookie-uri și Meta Pixel
Pe site-ul nostru folosim cookie-uri funcționale, necesare pentru funcționarea site-ului. Cookie-urile de marketing - în special Meta Pixel (Facebook), pe care îl folosim pentru a măsura cât de bine funcționează reclamele noastre - le plasăm doar după ce ți-ai dat acordul prin bannerul de cookie-uri. Poți accepta sau refuza aceste cookie-uri și îți poți retrage sau schimba alegerea oricând, ștergând cookie-urile din browser. Dacă refuzi, Meta Pixel nu este încărcat.
